Pleasant Prairie residents have placed their trust in Dave Klimisch for over a decade, electing him to serve on the Village Board and now as Village President. Public Safety
Completed a national search for a new Police Chief. Budgeted carefully to implement new technologies that keep officers safe and patrols efficient. Took ownership of a Wisconsin-manufactured custom Pierce Rescue Engine, the result of a multi-year process to plan, finance, and equip critical equipment that helps maintain our Fire Department's ISO rating at 2.
Infrastructure
Making significant water system improvements on 116th Street, Carol Beach, and Springbrook Road to strengthen our water loop system and ensure consistent, reliable service. Taking the lead on County Road C, re-imagining this corridor for safer travel and smart growth for decades, from the interstate to County Road H.
Finances
Staying disciplined, managing debt, and protecting the Village's AA Stable bond rating. That protects taxpayers and keeps Pleasant Prairie stable and well-run. Strong financial management attracts economic investment that helps keep taxes low while creating thousands of family-supporting jobs right here.
Quality of Life
Prairie Springs Park and Lake Andrea had a record-setting year financially. A renewed focus on community gatherings, including the July 11 fireworks, is helping strengthen our parks budget. Moving forward with the Prairie Springs Park 2035 Master Plan, including a vision for a year-round indoor-outdoor space just west of the newly turfed baseball fields.
